17th Century – Royal Whims:
King Louis XIV, known for his sensitivity to scents, believed the perfumes of Versailles did not match his grandeur. He bathed infrequently but wanted to smell royally.

1682 – Birth of a Unique Formula:
Jean-Paul Feminis (actually Giovanni Paolo), the court alchemist of the Sun King, created a new fragrance. Light, fresh, and revolutionary for its time.

Early 18th Century – Perfume Arrives in Poland:
Thanks to the Dominican order, the manuscript with the recipe reached Poland. The monks, collaborating with a local workshop, started modest production — both for themselves and to fill the treasury. The fragrance was well-liked, and people didn’t want to give it up.

Just After the War – Discovery of the Ancient Formula:
After partitions, wars, and oblivion, the Latin manuscript with the recipe was found in the archives of the PIXIN company.

1950s – Return of the Legend:
The eau de cologne PRASTARA, made according to the ancient recipe, won the hearts of Poles again. It is said to have been one of the most popular export products of that era.

2023 – A New Take on a Classic:
Today, you hold in your hands a modern reinterpretation of this iconic fragrance. Inspired by the original manuscript, we created an updated version of PRASTARA — a tribute to tradition in the spirit of our time.
