Icon of the Helper in Childbirth, wooden frame, double embossing, under glass, 11 x 13 cm

Since time immemorial, in moments of extreme suffering during childbirth, when death is so close, women have taken refuge with especially fervent prayer to the Savior and to His most pure Mother. In pious families, even today, one can see an icon of the Mother of God entitled "Help in Childbirth." It shows the Mother of God standing upright with her hands raised in prayer and the precious Child in her womb. This image is somewhat reminiscent of the icon "The Sign".

All products are consecrated by the parish priest of the Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov in the settlement Sofrino.
