"VLADIMIR Mother of God" - written by the evangelist Luke. The icon is considered one of the most venerated images of the Most Holy Mother of God in Russia. In front of this icon tsars were crowned and chief priests were elected. The icon is worshipped for the humility of the hostile, for the softening of evil hearts, for the healing of physical and mental infirmities, and for the healing of demon-possessed people.
